HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) – Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers captured a bear that was enjoying a meal of bird feed in a Highlands Ranch home’s backyard.

The bear was captured Monday afternoon.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office posted pictures of the bear on a deck eating bird feed at a home on Rock Hurst Drive.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife relocated the bear because it was determined not to be a repeat offender. It was taken to Pike National Forest.

Last Friday a deputy found a “very friendly” goat wandering near Perry Park Road in Sedalia. The sheriff’s office is looking for the goat’s owner. Anyone who might know who owns the goat is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
