LONE TREE, Colo. (CBS4) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office would like the public’s help identifying two men wanted for an attempted armed robbery at a light rail station.
According to the sheriff’s office, the attempted robbery occurred Wednesday at approximately 11 p.m. at the light rail station located at 10203 Station Way.
“The suspects approached the victim who was sleeping in his car at the time and attempted to rob the victim. The suspects were armed at the time of the attempted robbery,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
The victim was able to drive off and wasn’t harmed.
